The history of the “Cappa Mazzoniana"

The “Cappa Mazzoniana” is under the patronage of the Cultural Superintendence. Architect and designer, Angiolo Mazzoni, had a massive influence. His creation was revolutionary for the pubblic buildings in the early years of the twentieth century. He joined the traditional building materials (marbles, bricks..) with the vanguard of the new tecnology. Mazzoni preserved the linear style but the ambient results warm and rational at the same time. The “Cappa” is such an open space, with a sensational appeal and wonderful stained-glass windows. The reorganization of the structure preserved the original composition with stone, steel and copper . With Convoglia it’s possible to find: tradition, suggestion and the best italian food with a particular care of the guests. THAT’S CAPPA MAZZONIANA!!
